I Finally Escaped the Scams
I got into a real estate deal that was related to tax liens. They’re on the radio every 5 minutes and I got excited about it. I went to a free meeting, then I paid for the next meeting, then the third meeting came up and I was like, okay, here’s where the rubber meets the road… it cost me $20,000. The fact of the matter was, it wasn’t worth anything! The information was just a bunch of rhetoric and the offers that they had were expired and ones their team didn’t want.
Then I ended up at a free WRENG meetup. I watched Cici, I watched a number of the speakers and I was pretty impressed. They were sincere. The things that they were showing was stuff that I didn’t get for 20 grand! They had projects that were just open to the members. There were a number of properties where I thought, these are good deals. They had hard money lenders there, they had real estate agents, they had the help that you needed!

I became licensed as a real estate agent in 2007 and became a licensed broker in 2014. Real estate in general is a very lucrative business and an excellent vehicle through which to build wealth, particularly generational wealth.
